I had the bittersweet honor of photographing Bob and Nancy in front of their beloved home, just before they officially step into their next chapter. As they prepare to downsize and embrace a simpler lifestyle, I thought it was only fitting to capture a portrait of them together in front of the place they’ve called home for so many years.

Their presence on the street will be dearly missed.

There's something really meaningful about this kind of session. Not every portrait is about a wedding or a new baby. Sometimes it's about marking a moment that might otherwise slip by without a photo to remember it. A home you raised a family in. A chapter you're proud of.
