Makayla and Foster met me at Albany’s Pine Bush Preserve for a cozy fall session filled with warm earth tones and autumn color. The sky offered a cloudy overcast, but the diffused light wrapped everything in a dreamy glow.

The Pine Bush Preserve is one of those locations that just works in every season, but there's something about it in October that feels made for couples portraits. The sandy paths, the scrubby pines, the golden brush on either side all add up to something really atmospheric without trying too hard.
